The best travel bag for any season

About Kirana Likha

Kirana Likha was founded by Arista in 2019 in Bali. Arista was inspired by her aunt Yana, who created handmade crocheted bags. As a stay-at-home mom, Arista wanted to help Yana earn an income. This is when she decided to introduce the bags to the Netherlands, expanding the company in 2023. Now, there are so many color combinations, I’ve lost track. You can even send a request for a custom color combo that sparks the most joy for you. 

Not only does every purchase help women in Java, Indonesia earn an income, they are also made sustainably with durable and easy to care for materials. The bags are machine washable – I know, incredible! My bag is blue and white, and at risk of getting dirty – I’m bringing it everywhere. Wash on a cold setting, separately in a laundry bag. I haven’t tried this yet, but fingers crossed this will keep my bag fresh for many seasons to come.
