Carnival Colors: Águilas, Spain

I spent my first Carnival weekend enjoying a traditional celebration in Cádiz, Andalusia. For part two, I continued west along the coast of Spain to Águilas. Águilas is a small town on the
border between Murcia and Andalusia with a crazy colorful “Rio-esque” style Carnival.
Everyone from infants to the elderly get involved making for a spectacular two week festival. Here is a rainbow of my favorite moments:

Ps… my rainbow includes pink instead of indigo. Mostly because I like pink but also because I’m not exactly sure what indigo is.
